My best friend's 1969-Z28 302 ciBack | Home | NextI grew up knowing about this car as early as 1976. Female owner sold it to a fella in the neighborhood. He tweaked it and ran 11.4 sec. 1/4 mile in stock trim with original 302 ci. motor, Muncie 4 speed, but with 4.56:1 gears & 11" slicks. My best man became the 3rd owner of this authentic Z28 in 1981. Throughout our college years, we instigated many street races in this car. After graduating, he sold it to another close friend in the neighborhood. This fourth owner's still in possession of the Z since 1986. |
